Control Group is committed to making work that is accessible to anyone who wants to engage it.
Immersive and Experiential Art & Design as a field is still developing methodologies and industry standards around how to make embodied, audience-active experiences widely accessible. We are acutely aware of the challenges we face in presenting live public events in found sites and non-traditional venues, and we are working to pioneer sound, methodical approaches into the design of each event. We also realize that our works may contain imagery, action, sounds, and other experiences that are triggering to various conditions and sensitivities. We offer advance warnings for many common triggers (see list below).
We approach accessibility dialogically.
We are committed to finding reasonable accommodation for anyone interested in experiencing our work. Every Control Group production has a unique structure, venue, and experience offered. Wherever possible, we build accessibility into the event design. But we realize that we aren't able to consider every possible access need, so we kindly ask our audience members to reach out with accessibility questions, and to work together with us to find solutions that welcome them warmly into the world of our work. Whenever applicable, we offer advance warning on our website and ticketing app for shows that contain:

Economic Accessibility
We fully understand the obstacle that a ticket price can be. We work to keep our ticket prices as low as possible, and to offer free and discounted attendance opportunities to every show we present. If cost is an obstacle to attending our work, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
